How to fix major hangover: Kunjip

I ain’t been to a korean restaurant in a while. I don’t even remember the last time I ate at one. I have been kraving it recently so it’s been on my mind. I finally got the chance to satisfy my wet dream after waking up with major hangover syndrome. We almost couldn’t make it out in public to even go anywhere.
We went to Kunjip restaurant and this place was bustlin (that’s a real word)! We were seated in like 5 minutes although we thought longer from what the hostess told us. Thank goodness we didn’t have to wait any longer to be seated. My stomach was sucking itself in faster than the speed of light so now comes the hard part - waiting for the food to come while seeing everyone gorge themselves to obesity.
Looking at these pictures makes my tongue automatically unravel right out of my mouth. Damn it was good.

First set of side dishes rolling through. Kimchi, radishes, and fish cakes I think. (I’m getting hungry..I don’t know if I can blog anymore with this saliva on my keyboard)

Here comes the other side dish friends - cucumber kimchi and tofu (SLAMMIN!!)

Glass noodles (no, it’s not really made of glass).

Seafood and veggie pancake. The server girl cut it for us. How nice.

The big bowl in the middle was one of our entree. It’s a beef and veggie with rice hot pot bowl thing. It came with tofu soup side dish (I been fiending for this too, finally! It’s the small orange bowl on the right). We also got egg side dish (above seafood pancake and to the left of the beef and rice bowl). Nice. All the side dishes were nice and hot and very very good. You wish you were me, don’t you.

HERE’S OUR NICE SERVER GIRL AGAIN. You don’t see her because she’s the blurry thing in the picture. She’s (voluntarily) mixing the beef and veggie with rice for me so fast. She’s a mixing demon. If I was looking for a mixer at Target and she was on sale, I’d buy her in a heartbeat. Bye bye KitchenAid. She also mixed the noodles dish that you see on the top right. She must have robotic arms.

OH MY GAWD. Look at this mixed sexiness. Tell me you want it. If you don’t, you’re lying.

Here is the steamed egg soup side dish. Can’t really see it but the egg is in there. It’s trying to hide underneath the steam. Too bad it’s trapped in a hot little bowl which only delayed it’s eventual death when it met my mouf.

Here’s the one thing I’ve also longed for - my dear tofu soup. It looks like it may be spicy but it ain’t. I think it’s just from the flavoring/ingredients. There was clam and shrimp in there also. This was good. I ordered the beef rice bowl because it came with a side dish tofu soup. I am weak vs the almighty tofu soup. But it’s no match for my stomach though.

My plate - the death bed of everything edible.

After eating here, we were full and hangover was basically gone. The hangover was basically vaporizing away once we walked in to this warm and busy hot spot. There’s a lot of food but we really didn’t order that much. We ordered shrimp shumai and seafood pancakes for appetizers. And the beef and veggie with rice hot bowl for entree, along with the chewy noodle entree.
The side dishes were complimentary. I really like the side dishes because it’s variety. And variety is the spice of life. And I really like spicy stuff. So that means I like the side dishes.
You will love this place. Kunjip means big house. I have big mouf. Feed me.
