If Buddakan, then Harrykan too

This is the 2nd time I went to Buddakan, which is probably one of the best big name restaurants in Philly. I think this is one of those restaurants that you gotta go at least once. They have good selections on food and drinks, and it has good romantic ambience (because I’m into that kinda stuff). I had to put the candle next to the food to take pics because it was dark.

The last time I was there was during my freshman year in college. It’s been years since I’ve been there. But is Buddkan as good as I last remembered?

We went there for restaurant week so you don’t get the full menu but what’s there is already pretty good. The edamame ravioli appetizer is really tasty. I think you should try it. We also had the grilled octopus which was nice except it wasn’t as chewy as I thought. I thought it be like squid but I was wrong. The lambchop entree I had was really juicy so I liked it a lot. The shrimp entree is good too, even though there’s only 4 measly shrimps. We had the chocolate and dumpling donut desserts. They’re good too.

The place is really nice, it has a big giant buddha statue as you can see in the pics. If you had a shitty day, you can rub his stomach for lots of good luck. Because his tummy is bigger than other buddha statues that you can buy in the stores, that means you will get like million times more good luck than usual.
